This is a brief history of Polbeth United Football Club:
1969 - Polbeth United is established within village community.
1993 - Polbeth United obtain lease agreement for exclusive use of Hermand Park, West Calder for playing matches, and management of pitch bookings and care of changing facilities.
Mid 90's - The club are actively involved and become founder members of West Lothian Soccer 7's.
1997 - Polbeth Soccer School is established.
2000 - The Scottish Youth Cup returns to Polbeth for the 5th time, this time at Under 18's age group and the party lasts for a week (has anyone got some pics?).
July 2003 - The club partners with West Calder High School where it is planned that both parties will benefit from closely working together and sharing both personnel and facilities.
August 2003 - Club Head coach Gerry Neilson kicks-off our inaugural "Coach to Coaches" day where all club coaches and officials are invited to discuss and share coaching ideas and drills
.February 2004 - Club President Ann McCormack's unstinting contribution to Polbeth United is recognised at West Lothian's "Best in the West" sporting awards ceremony.
March 2004 - Brian Gallagher is appointed as the club's dedicated Goalkeeping coach.
May 2004 - A successful season is rounded off when every Polbeth United 11-a-side team reaches a cup final with 3 trophies and a league title (Under 15's) being won.
June 2004 - The growth of the club sees us having to move outwith Livingston for our Annual Club Presentation, and the Ratho Adventure Centre are delighted to host us.
July 2004 - The club hold a public meeting to share and discuss its plans to sign a lease agreement with West Lothian Council to manage the pitches and facilities at Limefield Park, Polbeth.
May 2005 - Polbeth Under 14's win the county cup. Polbeth Under 15's reach the regional cup final.
